Acts Chapter 2, vs. 1 - 39

1: When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place.

2: Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.

3: They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them.

4: All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.

5: Now there were staying in Jerusalem God-fearing Jews from every nation under heaven.

6: When they heard this sound, a crowd came together in bewilderment, because each one heard them speaking in his own language.

7: Utterly amazed, they asked: "Are not all these men who are speaking Galileans?

8: Then how is it that each of us hears them in his own native language?

9: Parthians, Medes and Elamites; residents of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia,

10: Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya near Cyrene; visitors from Rome

11: both Jews and converts to Judaism); Cretans and Arabs--we hear them declaring the wonders of God in our own tongues!"

12: Amazed and perplexed, they asked one another, "What does this mean?"

13: Some, however, made fun of them and said, "They have had too much wine."

14: Then Peter stood up with the Eleven, raised his voice and addressed the crowd: "Fellow Jews and all of you who live in Jerusalem, let me explain this to you; listen carefully to what I say.

15: These men are not drunk, as you suppose. It's only nine in the morning!

16: No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:

17: "'In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.

18: Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy.

19: I will show wonders in the heaven above and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and billows of smoke.

20: The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord.

21: And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.'

22: "Men of Israel, listen to this: Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs, which God did among you through him, as you yourselves know.

23: This man was handed over to you by God's set purpose and foreknowledge; and you, with the help of wicked men, put him to death by nailing him to the cross.

24: But God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him.

25: David said about him: "'I saw the Lord always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.

26: Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will live in hope,

27: because you will not abandon me to the grave, nor will you let your Holy One see decay.

28: You have made known to me the paths of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence.'

29: "Brothers, I can tell you confidently that the patriarch David died and was buried, and his tomb is here to this day.

30: But he was a prophet and knew that God had promised him on oath that he would place one of his descendants on his throne.

31: Seeing what was ahead, he spoke of the resurrection of the Christ, that he was not abandoned to the grave, nor did his body see decay.

32: God has raised this Jesus to life, and we are all witnesses of the fact.

33: Exalted to the right hand of God, he has received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear.

34: For David did not ascend to heaven, and yet he said, "'The Lord said to my Lord: "Sit at my right hand

35: until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet."'

36: "Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ."

37: When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, "Brothers, what shall we do?"

38: Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

In conclusion, Acts 2 Verse 38 does NOT teach that baptism is required for salvation. With that said, however, baptism is an important "sign" that someone has been justified by faith as his/her public declaration of their faith in Jesus and membership in a local body of believers in Jesus Christ. Baptism is NOT not the means of remission or forgiveness of sins. The Bible is very clear that we are saved by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone! See the following Bible verses:

Historically, there have been 3 sets of blood moons that also corresponded to significant events:

* In 1492, the Alhambra Decree ordered all Jews who would not convert to Roman Catholicism to leave Spain.
* In 1948, the State of Israel was "re-born.
* In 1967, the 6-Day War occurred in Israel and Jerusalem was rightfully back under Israel.

Jesus Christ is God who He said He is. He is our promised Redeemer and the King of Kings. He is our loving Savior, our faithful Shepherd and our sovereign King! Through the cross, He brought us into an eternal and loving relationship with Himself that will last forever.

How You Can Know God's Love:

"There is a God in Heaven who loves you as you are and not as you should be."

Yes... you are right... there is a God. You know that must be true. The heart of the human being longs for God, and logic demands divine existence.

While everyone believes God is... most sense separation from God. We know God must be holy and good. We see ourselves as unholy and not good. We conclude that God is angry with us and we cannot know Him.

Good News! This Testament of God's love is His Word to tell us that He loves us as we are. That love will save us from our sin and make us what we should be as God's children.

John 3:16
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life."

We hear Jesus say, "God so loved the world." God's love has no limitations. He loves "so". More than we can imagine. He loves everyone - not just some ones.

Romans 5:8 tells us that God loved us so that "when we were in our sin Christ Jesus came to die for us."

Romans 3:23
"for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,"

This verse tells us that all people have sinned. We have fallen short of God's intended purpose for us. God made us to know Him.... to receive His love and to love him in return.

For love to be love... for God to be God... and for humans to be humans.... God gave us a choice. We can choose to love ourselves and turn to our selfish pursuits. That is sin. In our sin we cannot know God and His love. The result of sin is that we are lost... separated from God.

Romans 6:23
"For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Wages are just payment... due reward... what one has coming because of labor. The just payment for our sin is death.

Death here means spiritual insensitivity. When we are still in our sin, we have no life with God. We are alive physically but dead spiritually. If we continue in that condition, we will be separated from God for all eternity.

The wages of sin is death. but God's free gift is eternal life. While wages are earned, a gift is offered... no strings attached. God says He will give us eternal life - life with Him - in the place of sin's payment of death.

How can God remain true to His holiness and forgive unholy sinners? Because Jesus, His Son, has paid the price for sin by His death on the cross.

Second Corinthians 5:21 says, "He who knew no sin became sin for us, that we may be made the righteousness of God through Him."

Jesus arose from the grave to conquer sin and death for all who receive Him as God's free gift.

How can you receive God's free gift of love and life?

Romans 10: 9-10
"that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation."

A person receives God's free gift of love and life by placing faith in Jesus Christ. To believe is simply to take God at His word. With our heart (whole believing) we believe that Jesus is God's Son who died for our sin on the cross and arose from the grave to live in us as Savior and Lord.

To believe in Jesus will result in confessing that faith with one's mouth.

Do you acknowledge that your are a sinner?

Do you believe by faith that Jesus, God's Son, died for your sin on the cross?

Will you now confess Him as your Savior and Lord?

Romans 10:13
"for Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved."

This verse says that any person who will call upon the name of Jesus, the Lord, shall be saved.

To call means simply to ask in prayer. The verse does not require one to know more... do better... clean up one's life... or in any way try to add to what Jesus has done for us.

Will you now call upon Jesus to save you from your sin so that you can know God's love and forgiveness?

Pray like this: "Dear God, I confess that I am a sinner, and I am sorry. I need a Savior. I know I cannot save myself. I believe by faith that Jesus, your Son, died on the cross to be my Savior. I believe He arose from the grave to live as my Lord. I turn from my sin. I ask You, Lord Jesus, to forgive my sin and come into my heart. I trust you as my Savior and receive you as my Lord. Thank you, Jesus, for saving me."

When anyone calls on the Lord in this manner, that one is saved according to God's Word. If you pray a prayer of repentance and faith, you are saved. You have God's word on it.

If you have prayed this prayer to receive Christ as your Lord and Savior, why not record your decision to follow Jesus as follows. Often times, a good place to write this would be inside the cover of your bible:

Believing by faith that God loves me and sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die for my sin and arise from the grave to live in me, I, _______, do this day, ________, repent of my sin and accept Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior. According to the promise of God in Romans 10:13, I have called upon His name and have His word for the assurance of my salvation.

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities,
against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
~ Ephesians 6, verse 12

The "New World Order" is "man's" hope for saving himself and bringing in "man's" kingdom.

The only thing preventing the New World Order - also known as the Illuminati - from taking total control of mankind right now - enslaving mankind, is God's Holy Spirit and His Church. Once the "Bride of Christ" is removed, the elitists in the New World Order (Carnegie, Rockefeller, Rothschild, Henry Kissinger, Guggenheim, Ford, Bush family, Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, Tony Blair, John Kerry, Ted Turner, Barack Obama, etc.) will bring in total subjugation of those that remain.

The New World Order is in direct opposition to the one true God, Creator of the universe and His Son Jesus and the Holy Spirit (greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world).

The New World Order (NWO) operates behind the scenes but in plain sight through the "Round Table Groups" which include;

* Council on Foreign Relations
* Royal Institute of International Affairs
* Trilateral Commission
* United Nations

which coordinates among the groups the "world agenda" as well as providing "their" news and "programming" to the population (population control) via "their" television networks, television news, television programs newspapers and the multinational companies they also own/control. The elitists (Lucifierians) at the top of the pyramid of the New World Order meet in secret each year at the Bilderberg Group annual meeting to plan the world's agenda for the coming 12 months. They also meet at Bohemian Grove and worship Lucifer there and their sacred "owl" with rituals including the "cremation of care."

President John Kennedy tried to warn us about the New World Order, as did President Dwight Eisenhower. President Kennedy was murdered by the elite in the New World Order for his attempts at returning the Federal Reserve back to the people of the U.S., as well as his efforts to warn America, and the world about the NWO.

As they - the "elite" - of the New World Order have all the money and worldly goods they could ever hope to have, the only thing that they don't have, which they crave more than anything else, is the ultimate power to control the non-elite, the people that they plan to enslave and control. This will be done through the "mark of the beast" that the elite will require everyone to take - which is to be "implanted" in everyone's head or hand. If you refuse to take the chip / be implanted with their chip, you will not be able to buy or sell anything. It will be known that you refused to be implanted with the NWO's chip, and they will seek to find you and you will be given the choice to have the NWO chip implanted, or you will be killed.

Remember, if you take the mark of the beast, as required by the NWO - and ultimately, by Satan's Antichrist, you will be cast into the lake of fire and there you will burn forever and forever and forever.

The New World Order and international bankers now planning to deploy the New World Order are ultimately all led by Satan worshipers and "Luciferians" who pledge their allegiance and worship him.

Jesus warned us 2,000 years ago that these end times were coming! And now it appears to be coming true TODAY!

If you take the mark of the beast, as required by Satan's Antichrist,
you will be cast into the lake of fire and there you will burn forever and forever.

According to the Bible, Revelation Chapter 13: 16-18:

"And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond,
to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:

And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark,
or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast:
for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six."

Christian's everywhere are becoming convinced that Radio Frequency Identification will be the technology Satan's chosen world leader and world dictator, who is the anti-christ, will REQUIRE, under penalty of death, that every human being must take the mark of the beast in their forehead or right hand, in order to buy or sell (anything and everything).

For believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, we will not have to go through the great tribulation period as we will be raptured to meet Jesus in the clouds. Jesus will take His church home before the beginning of the Great Tribulation when we, His church, who have heard, believed, repented, confessed, and been baptized, will hear a trumpet and the words, "Come Up Hither!"

The anti-christ and the beast will keep track of people and monitor their every move, and every financial transaction, through the "mark of the beast." Without the "mark of the beast," people will be forced "underground" where there will be a great pouring out of His Holy Spirit that will lead many of those tat did not take the mark of the beast to salvation and an eternity in Heaven with God, the King of the universe, and His only begotten Son, our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ.

However, those who do not heed these warnings, and take the mark of the beast required by Satan's anti-christ, that we believe is Radio Frequency Identification, will be cast into the lake of fire, and spend eternity away from God, to be hopelessly and helplessly tormented in Hades and the Lake of Fire by Satan and his demons.

Is this the Mark of the Beast?
